Mike Armstrong, MD is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and by the American board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. A native of Richmond, Dr. Armstrong trained at Johns Hopkins Hospital and has been in practice since 1995. Special interests include facial plastic surgery and innovative techniques in sinus surgery.
Carol Byrd, MD is a graduate of the University of Richmond and the Medical College of Virginia, Dr. Byrd practiced pediatrics in Richmond for nearly 20 years before retraining as a cosmetic laser specialist. In 2002, she founded the Advanced Skin and Laser Center, an independent practice that shared office space with Richmond ENT for eight years. Dr. Byrd officially joined our practice in January 2011 to offer Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and laser treatments that complement the cosmetic surgery of Drs. Armstrong. Dr. Byrd also performs treatments for removal of unwanted body hair and spider veins.
Tony Giordano, MD, PhD has practiced otolaryngology in Richmond since 1981. He believes in thorough patient care and allows adequate time to listen to your concerns. He is recognized by the Consumer Research Council of America as a Top Doctor in Otolaryngology. Dr. Giordano is currently seeing patients at our office on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Becky L. Andrews, R.N., C.O.R.L.N. has been with Richmond ENT since 2001. A graduate of Southern Adventist University with a master’s degree from the University of Virginia, she is certified by the board of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Nurses, and the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners. A member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, Becky also manages our allergy department. She loves to see children and welcomes patients of all ages.
Amy Meadors, FNP joined Richmond ENT in 2013 and available for office visits 5 days a week. An experienced critical care and operating room nurse, she assists Dr. Armstrong with office procedures and complex surgeries. She graduated from McMurry University in Abilene, TX and received her Master’s Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Beth Kennedy, Au.D., CCC-A is the director of hearing services at both Richmond ENT and Richmond Hearing Aids. Dr. Kennedy specializes in hearing evaluations and hearing aid programming. She works closely with Drs. Armstrong and Giordano to diagnose and manage diseases of the ears. She is a graduate of James Madison University, with a doctorate from the University of Connecticut.
Leigh Anne Taliaferro specializes in combating aging by softening the skin’s texture and tone to provide a more youthful glow. With the latest skin care techniques and products she can smooth away wrinkles and turn back time to change the way you see your face. She is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington and completed her clinical training at the Institute of Advanced Medical Esthetics.
