Alvin Israel Goldstone, MD

Alvin Israel Goldstone, M.D. has been a practicing ENT doctor in Richmond for more than 44 years. He has worked alongside Dr. William Wilkes since 1985 at ENT Specialists of Central Virginia. After joining Richmond ENT he now sees patients at the Glenside office location at the corner of Glenside Drive and Forest Avenue.

Dr. Goldstone is board-certified in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery and he has a passion for geriatric ear, nose, and throat care. He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh in 1961 and graduated from medical school also at the University of Pittsburgh in 1965. Pittsburgh Presbyterian University Hospital is ranked #12 in the nation by U.S. News and World Report Magazine. Dr. Goldstone completed his internship at Roanoke Memorial Hospital and Residency in General Surgery at Norfolk General Hospital and in Otolaryngology at the Medical College of Virginia .

Dr. Goldstone served our country in the United States Air Force , stationed in Vietnam from 1966 – 1967 and South Carolina from 1967—1968, and achieved the Rank of Captain. He was certified with the American Board of Otolaryngology in 1975 and is a member of the Richmond Academy of Medicine .

In his spare time Dr. Goldstone enjoys running and attending the sporting events of his 7 grandchildren.

Mike Armstrong, MD

Mike Armstrong, MD founded Richmond ENT in 2001. A native of Richmond, Dr. Armstrong trained at Johns Hopkins Hospital and has been in practice since 1995. Board-certified in both otolaryngology and in facial plastic surgery, he provides comprehensive treatment of nasal, sinus and allergic disorders, including cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He is a leader in the development of office based surgical treatments for sinusitis, such as Balloon Sinuplasty. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.

Tony Giordano, MD, PhD

Tony Giordano, MD, PhD is a respected otolaryngologist who has practiced in Richmond for more than 30 years. A graduate of Hahnemann Medical College, with a PhD from the University of Rochester, he trained in otolaryngology at the University of Minnesota. Board-certified in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, his special interests include balance and hearing disorders, sleep apnea, sinus and allergy diseases, and surgery of the thyroid and salivary glands.
