Becky L. Andrews, RN, MSN, FNP, CORLN

Becky L. Andrews, RN, MSN, FNP, CORLN
joined Richmond ENT in June, 2001. She graduated from Southern Adventist University in 1997 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing.

She then worked as a registered nurse at John Randolph Hospital and Saint Mary’s Hospital on the medical, surgical and oncology floors for four years. During this time, she also attended the University of Virginia, where she received her master’s degree in May, 2001. She was certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in September, 2001. Since that time, she has limited her practice exclusively to the medical management of ear, nose and throat disorders.

Becky loves to see children. If your child is scheduled as a new patient with Advanced Otolaryngology, you can expect that he or she will meet first with Becky Andrews. Becky will perform a comprehensive history and ear, nose and throat examination and make initial recommendations. Except under extraordinary circumstances, Dr. Armstrong will join her shortly to confirm the diagnosis and treatment plan. Dr. Armstrong personally performs all surgery, and will personally discuss the indications, risks and benefits of any surgical recommendation. If you do not feel that you have enough information to make an informed decision regarding surgery, we encourage you to call Dr. Armstrong at home after dinner. He provides all patients with his Personal mobile and home phone numbers! Following surgery, Becky performs the majority of routine follow-up visits and care after surgery. She meets with Dr. Armstrong to review cases daily and is an excellent resource for any questions you may have. In the event of an emergency or a sudden change in your health status, Dr. Armstrong is usually just down the hall.

She is certified by the Society of Otorhinolaryngology Head-Neck Nurses, and the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.
